I don’t get out much but when I do I try and look my best, if that means a small about of make up or just “sprucing” up then sure. I don’t ware make up often but when I do it’s either because I felt like it, wanted to get dolled up, or for a specific reason. I don’t like spending forever in the bathroom doing my face primarily because I am a mother to three wild things.
If my presence is out of the room for too long, there is not telling what could happen. So I need a quick and easy routine that I can do so my kids don’t destroy the house.
First I would like to say I am not endorsing the products I use I am simply sharing with you what I use and my make up routine. I will state that I am not fancy and don’t own anything over $20 for make up. You probably wont find anything from Sephora and Ultra in my make up bag, I don’t find it necessary to buy $100 dollar eye shadows. I mean they are magnificent and beautiful but I personally don’t have the money for that. If you do well all power to you then! Besides sometimes the cheaper stuff works just as well, sometimes is key word ha ha. REMEMBER first and foremost that beauty is found with in, it’s just nice to put on makeup makeup doesn’t make you beautiful!

What’s My Routine
Well depending on when I get the time to do my make up depends on if it is right after dropping the eldest off at school or before I drop him off at school. It also depends on if I even want to do my make up. Yes I am that mom in the drop off line that has messy hair, a cup of coffee, slippers, and looks tired. Don’t judge ha ha!
Anyway first off I apply some of my RE9 moisturizer, they are samples I had gotten from my grandmother. They work great and don’t leave my skin oily or feeling thick with lotion. When they run out I will find something else that works just as well. After I apply that I take a small about of e.l.f primer and apply to the forehead, chin, cheeks, and nose. I always make sure to rub in well! I don’t use more that a little dot because a little goes a really long way.
Then I apply my Wet n Wild Concealer to areas that I need to hide acne or dark spots
like under my eyes to hide the bags I have from lack of sleep, or red areas of my face. After that is done I put a small about of my e.l.f foundation on my jelly thing (I don’t know what it is called but its like the jelly egg but looks like a tear drop and is flat with one side sponge like the other silicone, I like to call it my jelly thing) and evenly spread over my face. Don’t forget your neck! When all that is done quickly take my matte powder and take my powder brush then brush it that all over.
Depending the day is what I use for eye shadow, I have five favorite colors that I use from my e.l.f case and about 3 from my rose tin. The picture only shows one but the e.l.f case is covering the others.
After I decide on a color I apply quickly and then apply my crayon eyeliner to just my waterline only I don’t do cat eye eyeliner or anything on my eyelid. Then I put my mascara on, after I apply some of my lip crayon and WA-la I am done.
I then spray with setting spray and I am ready to walk out the door, my routine isn’t as long as it may sound. It is actually less than 10 minutes to complete! An even faster process is when I don’t put on foundation because my skin looks decent that day and all I need is my moisturizer and the eye liner with mascara. The lip crayons I got for Christmas so I don’t know where they can from or what color they are because it doesn’t say. However they are a good lip crayon that works well for me!
